Finger Rings
Wyrm Regards -- Sterling Silver and Glass Eye ring, Shark, size 7
$60
USD (price
includes worldwide shipping)

The Piece:
Totemic, savage, primordial, weird -- these are all words that could
appropriately describe my new line of glass taxidermy eye wearables. Do any
of those words fit you, too?
If so, then I'd like to introduce you to this eerie black, red and
gold-streaked shark eye sterling silver ring. Bold, substantial band would
be equally at home on either a man or a woman's hand.
The Process:
Simply and securely bezel-set by hand using traditional techniques, and
(after oxidizing to bring out the texture) brought to a high polish on the
outside.
These rings are cast using a primitive form of casting known as cuttlefish
casting. The dry, porous internal skeletons of the oceanic cuttlefish (that
often wash up on the shores, and are called cuttlebones or "sea biscuits")
are carved into, creating a void for molten metal to be poured.
Because no two cuttlebones are the same, no two rings will ever be
identical!
The Particulars:
Size: 7
Eye: Tough, high-quality professional glasswork
A note on COLOURS: Colours within my photographs may vary due to different
lighting, angles and backgrounds. Colours may also vary depending on your
monitor settings. If specific shade is of utmost importance to you, please
contact me for further photographs and/or descriptions.
A note on RING SIZES: Ring sizes are by no means standard! They can vary
from jeweller to jeweller, based on the individual mandrel he or she is
using! Sizes 6, 7 and 8 are the most popular and will fit a finger on most
hands, but to be sure, please convo me with exact measurements.
Like the name? I can't take credit for it -- the lovely and witty
